AMENDMENT POSTER/PRESENTATION


The purpose of this assignment is as follows:
  1. To work cooperatively with a partner on researching one of the twenty seven amendments to the Constitution.
  2. To help you learn how to do research with a partner
  3. To give you practice in getting information from several sources.
  4. To provide you with the experience of presenting your research to the class, using a visual aid (the poster). You may also use Power Point as a presentation tool. You will submit a written report and a visual aid for your final project grade.
  5. To help you develop the ability to get information from books, libraries, and other sources, and put that information in your own words.
  6. To help you learn to organize facts and information logically into a final presentation.
  7. To help you learn to include photos, graphics and other material to increase the level of interest in your presentation

  1. First page is the title page with date, your name and teacher name. (Yager)
  2. A brief historical definition and explanation of the amendments to the Constitution at http://www.archives.gov/national-archives-experience/charters/bill_of_rights.html
  3. State the Amendment you have selected and it's historical importance.
  4. A Poster 18" X 24" or larger as a visual aid.
  5. Pictures, graphics, illustrations, clippings, etc.
