Step 1
Let's build a stamp dispenser.

- Open thinkdesign and open a New Model
. Close the History tree.
- Right click in workspace and select Options.
- Click on the General tab and set the unit of measure to Inches and OK the dialog box.

- We'll start with the base.
- Click the Rectangle
button in the Drafting toolbar
- Select Cen+Sizes, and type 4 for the X value and hit Tab twice.
- Type 4 for Y value and hit Tab.
- Drag the rectangle to the center of the workspace and hit Esc to exit the command.
- Set the color
to 12.
- Right click a line segment and select Chain from this.
- Select
Linear Solid and set the Depth to 1.

- Hit the
to complete the sweep.
- Rotate to check the depth of the Linear sweep

- We'll set the hole in the base to accept the dowel that holds the mailbox.
- Double click on the face to set the Workplane, then select View, on workplane.
- Open the Simple Hole
command and select
Extension as blind. Set the diameter to 0.375 and the Depth to
0.5. Select TypeFrom 2 Edges and center the hole.
- Hit
to set the hole.
- That was easy. Let's touch up the edges and move on. Select the Chamfer
command and set the Distance to 0.375.
Select each of the top edges with the X.

- Hit
to complete the command.
- Dynamically rotate your base and here's what it will look like.
